Supervisor - Transport

As a Supervisor at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, you will play a key role in assisting the Transport Manager and Senior Supervisor in managing and providing an efficient transport service within allocated budgets. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with Trust policies, guidelines, and road transport regulations while directly supervising HGV and Non-HGV Drivers on a daily basis. The working hours for this role are 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern from Friday to Monday, starting at 7am and ending at 3pm. While the standard shifts are 7.5 hours long, you may occasionally be required to stay later to cover runs due to annual leave or sickness. To be eligible for this position, you must hold a valid license to drive 7.5t vehicles, Category C, possess a CPC certification, and be Tachograph compliant. Your role will involve maintaining a high level of professionalism and ensuring the smooth operation of the transport service.
