Supervisor, Maintenance Services

Roles and Responsibilities:

Personnel & Shift Management

• Schedule site personnel according to weekly shift patterns aligned with the customer's flight schedule.
• Supervise and coordinate daily operational activities, ensuring adequate staffing and task allocation.
• Hire, train, supervise, and appraise direct reports for optimal team performance.

Inventory Control & Logistics

• Manage local inventory, including customer and Panasonic Avionics-owned capital assets.
• Oversee local logistics operations, ensuring timely movement of parts and equipment.
• Coordinate with customs, freight forwarders, and brokers for clearance and shipment handling.

Preventive Maintenance & Operations

• Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance activities for systems installed on customer aircraft during overnight holds.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Perform onboard maintenance and fill in for absent employees as needed.

Office & Site Administration

• Manage local office responsibilities, including coordination with port authorities for personnel identification, customs clearance, and security seal issuance.
• Oversee office administration tasks such as overtime management, vehicle upkeep, cleanliness, and facility organization.

Customer & Stakeholder Coordination

• Maintain daily communication with customer representatives at line maintenance levels.
• Liaise with local airport authorities, customs, and logistics partners to ensure smooth site operations.
• Coordinate internally with MMS personnel, HR, and other Panasonic departments to execute site-specific service agreements.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to all safety, security, and regulatory requirements of airport and aviation authorities.
• Promote compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and maintenance documentation standards.
