Production

• Takes responsibility to manage and drive team to achieve manufacturing target.
• Assigns machine to the operators basis the skill set and production plan (received from Production Head)
• Assesses operator's performance and Identifies training needs to ensure that adequate training is carried out.
• Organizes material movement to ensure operations are optimized.
• Ensure 5S in the production work area.
• Ensure safe work environment.
• Do Basic Trouble Shooting to reduce rejection before escalating to Production Head

Job Responsibilities:

1. Ensuring PPE and provide cloths/ tools for working.
2. Assign machines to each operator as per skill set and ensure manpower, machine and compound availability for all shifts.
3. After every non-working day, ensure molding machines are switched on and attain heat before the scheduled shift.
4. Fill the check sheet after Mold changeover
5. Check machine settings
6. Floor supervision
1. Match machine settings with check sheet
2. Escalate compound unavailability to Production Head.
3. Basic Trouble Shooting for addressing production related issues
4. Check rejection / sample quality checks and ensure handling of molded Material (OK/ Reject / Rework / Segregation) as per system.
5. Ensure quality of products and low rejection
6. Notify Production Head in case of any machine breakdowns/ quality issues/ mixing issues etc.

1. Monitor machine operators and offer real time feedback.
2. Plan weekly shifts / manage attendance
3. Verify press and Fill out

   Setup approval report

   for each mold (30 mins)
4. Incoming compound inspection sheet fill out
5. Train new machine operators, and ensure skill upgradation of all employees in the dept.
6. Implement 5S

Skillset:

• Minimum 3 years in production department manufacturing rubber parts
• Should be able to use computer & MS Office Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
• Self-Driven & Solution Oriented
• Proficiency in scientific rubber injection molding (Preferably with DESMA Injection Molding Machines) and compression molding machines, for basic trouble shooting.
