- o Achieve optimal electrical / maintenance system operational efficiency by developing and maintaining electrical/ maintenance systems.
- To be kept all machines in running condition and to provide safety measures in all machines and surroundings.

- Meets departmental financial objectives by forecasting requirements and challenges, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Develops strategic electrical plans by studying operational plans and existing conditions, determining needs to accomplish operational plans, mapping solutions, updating and modifying requirements and solutions, and preparing cost estimates and budgets.
- Plans electrical projects by determining specifications, selecting contractors, establishing installation schedules, planning shut-downs and installations, integrating architectural and mechanical design specifications, verifying code requirements, and updating cost estimates.
- Maintains electrical systems by establishing and enforcing ongoing maintenance schedules and procedures and testing programs, scheduling repairs, and coordinating shut-downs and installations.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
- Updates job knowledge by remaining current on codes and requirements, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.
- Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by collaborating with other members of senior management.
- Manages vendor and subcontractor relationships.
- To implement new techniques for easy handling of machine.
- To be given the training to all technician to maintain the machine.
- Study the existing energy consumption and analysis the cost reduction to the management.
- Liaising with government office such as TNEB etc.,
Secondary Responsibilities:
- To ensure the requirement of TPM/ISO9001, ENISO13485, ISO 14001 CE Mark, USFDA, as amended and other applicable National, International standards and Regulation are implemented and maintained
- To train the subordinates with respect to electrical activities.
- To coordinate in validation of process parameters and equipment.
- To Ensure 5s activities, Kaizen /OEE are followed periodically.
- To ensure GMP / Housekeeping activities inside the production area
- To ensure the competence mapping /Skill Analysis for all employees
- Such other assignments the management may give from time to time.
- Ensure Medical Emergency for employee’s co-ordinate with HR department.
