As an Application Engineer at EY, you will be part of the Talent IT Service Delivery team responsible for the end-to-end delivery of programs/projects to develop and maintain global applications and systems in Talent IT Landscape. Your primary role as a Senior Developer in the Solution Delivery pillar will involve developing and testing solutions created in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using Neo and Cloud Foundry environments to support the Talent IT. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and delivering technical systems while maintaining adherence to architectural standards, global product-specific guidelines, and usability design standards. - Participating in the development and review of documents to comply with SDLC methodologies. - Providing support and documentation to assist in sustaining the project during the transition to production. - Adhering to Application Engineering methodologies, standards, and code reviews. - Translating detailed Requirements and Design and Solution Architecture deliverables into detailed design specifications. - Proactively anticipating project issues, defining problems, identifying possible causes, and implementing appropriate solutions. - Applying judgment in implementing Application Engineering methodologies, processes, and practices to specific requirements of projects/programs. You will also be responsible for challenging the Service Delivery team to account, working within a matrix organization, making decisions to prioritize relationships, managing and resolving project risks effectively, and demonstrating in-depth knowledge of EY competency principles and practices. Your knowledge and skills requirements will include expertise in Application Development on SAP BTP (Neo & Cloud Foundry), SAP HANA Cloud and HANA 2.0 (XSC/XSA), SuccessFactors Extension Applications, relationship management, IT life cycle understanding, business acumen, customer orientation, executive presence, financial and people leadership skills, and business analysis experience. In terms of requirements, you should have a degree in Computer Science and/or a business-related degree, 5-8 years of professional experience in SAP Business Technology Platform (Neo and Cloud Foundry), certification in SAP HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, or SuccessFactors, and fluency in English.
