Description We are seeking a Field Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site technical support for our clients in Bangalore The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in desktop support and possess a strong technical background to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues. Responsibilities Provide on-site technical support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral devices. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner. Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications as required. Assist in setting up and maintaining user accounts and permissions. Ensure all IT equipment is properly maintained and inventory is tracked. Conduct regular preventive maintenance on systems and hardware. Document all support activities and maintain records of user requests and resolutions. Skills and Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in desktop support or related field. Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS environments. Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management. Strong understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with users effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
