We are seeking a skilled and passionate Japanese & Korean Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in authentic Japanese and Korean cuisine, with a strong understanding of traditional techniques, presentation, and modern fusion concepts. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Japanese and Korean dishes, including sushi, sashimi, ramen, tempura, bibimbap, bulgogi, kimchi, and more. Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation. Oversee kitchen operations, inventory, and daily prep related to Japanese & Korean menu items. Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in proper techniques and hygiene standards. Collaborate with management to develop seasonal or special menus. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations. Maintain consistency and authenticity in all dishes served. Requirements: Proven experience as a Japanese or Korean chef in a professional kitchen. Expertise in traditional Japanese and/or Korean cooking techniques. Strong knife skills and knowledge of ingredient handling. Creativity in presentation and plating. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus. Good communication and leadership skills. Flexibility with shifts, including weekends and holidays.
