Job Summary:

We are looking for a study and development engineer specialized in Finastra Summit Back Office software for interest rate derivatives, credit derivatives, currency products, and currency options. The developer will help streamline Global Markets Operations with new improvements to allow for further business increase.

Key Responsibilities:

The developer is based in Hong Kong as part of a global team with colleagues in France, Portugal, and India. Within the Global Market & Risk (GMR) Information Systems Department, Booking and Post Trade Division, Fixed Income Credit & Treasury Pole, the Summit TCI team is responsible for the management, oversight, and evolution of the Summit TCI Back Office application. This system is crucial for developing activities internationally in the areas of currency derivatives, interest rate derivatives, credits, and treasury.

Responsibilities:

The Summit TCI team manages various Back Office processes, including:
- Trade lifecycle
- Payments
- Confirmations
- Accounting
- Reporting
- Clearing

Mission:

Participate in the evolution of the information system architecture by leveraging new features offered by the FINASTRA Summit software
Manage projects and maintenance work
Provide Level 3 technical support
Write precise technical specifications
Design, develop, and maintain solutions around the Summit financial software

Required Skills and Experience:

Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages
Experience with FINASTRA Summit V6.x software
Experience with shell scripting
Strong knowledge of SQL (Oracle)
Skills in Linux environment
Ability to work independently while demonstrating excellent teamwork skills
Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with various departments to ensure the smooth functioning of the systems

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

BE/BTech/BCA/MCA or similar qualification
