The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing clear, quality code to develop the best software. You will test your code, identify errors, and iterate to ensure quality code. You will also support our customers and partners by troubleshooting any of their software issues. Key Skills and Experience required for this role: - Good knowledge and experience on the latest Summit FT Architecture on V6 and above - Minimum 7+ years of Programmer/ Analyst Experience with strong C/ C++ Development skills, OOPS Design, PERL scripting essential - Good business knowledge of Capital Markets & Investment Banking, OTC trading, Derivatives, Treasury, Forex, and Fixed Income - Good with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) skills - Working Knowledge of Summit FT, MetaData, API, STP, STK, RDBMS, SQL, basic knowledge of Banking-Business preferable - Well versed with Summit Entity, STP, SMT, Desktop, Workflow, and Environment Configurations - Should be able to do technical design of new solutions applying current software design techniques - Decompose design into development plan tasks and provide accurate estimation of effort - Well versed in Summit related Functional and Regression testing - Good working experience with Oracle relational database, XML parsing, and Unix commands - Hands-on working experience of a structured development methodology - Good command of speaking and writing English,
