Role Description The Shopify Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions to enhance our e-commerce platform. This includes working on custom themes, integrating third-party apps, optimizing the site's performance, and ensuring a seamless user experience. Collaboration with the marketing team and other stakeholders to implement new features effectively is also a key part of this role. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify themes and apps. Customize existing themes and integrate third-party Shopify apps. Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and responsiveness. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Shopify platform, integrations, and front-end logic. Collaborate with UI/UX designers and marketing teams to implement new features and improve user experience. Work with APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations (payment gateways, shipping, CRM, etc.). Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, features, and e-commerce best practices. Requirements: Minimum 2–3 years of experience working with Shopify development. Strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery. Experience with Shopify Plus, custom apps, or Shopify APIs is a plus. Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization. Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce platforms. Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Good communication skills and attention to detail. Nice to Have (Bonus Skills): Experience with third-party tools like Klaviyo, Judge.me, ReCharge, etc. Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD). Experience with headless Shopify, custom storefronts, or Shopify Hydrogen is a plus.
