Subtitle Writer - (Kannada to English)

Qube Cinema Technology is looking for writers to join their fast-growing subtitles division. The candidate will be required to write clear, grammatically accurate and high-quality English subtitles for Kannada movies. The ideal candidate must have excellent language skills and an eye for detail. Ability to read and write in Kannada is a must. Knowledge of other South Indian languages is a bonus but not a requirement. Looking for candidates with proven writing experience. Ready to work in office from Monday to Friday. (Saturdays will be on a need-to-work basis).

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborating closely with content producers to facilitate timeline delivery of the final subtitles
• Transcribing and timing subtitles for movies/web series accurately
• Excellent writing and editing skills to produce high-quality subtitles
• Strong eye for detail and ability to check their work for errors and inconsistencies.
• Adhering to specific formatting guidelines required for various platforms
