The role provides a wide variety of technical products to support asset teams across the enterprise in a range of development settings and basins; offshore, onshore, conventional and unconventional, exploration through to development. Delivers key technical geophysical analysis products and interpretation such as: o Seismic to well tie, Acoustic Impedance Inversion, Acoustic FD earth model building, Time2depth velocity modelling, Depth uncertainty analysis, Seismic data processing support, 4D & CCUS (Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage) feasibility modelling and analysis. o Tasks will also include performance of routine compliance tasks, automated and manual software compatibility testing for periodic system and software upgrades, and close coordination with Subsurface Platform Systems Engineers o Petrel and geophysical software development skills • Teaming with US-based research and development groups focusing on developing and deploying geophysical products and workflows • Continual communication with asset and exploration teams spanning the globe MSc degree in Earth Science, (Geophysics preferred) • At least 5 years industry related experience • Industry Experience in technical geophysics including, but not limited to seismic interpretation, seismic-to-well tie, Acoustic Impedance inversion, acoustic FD earth model building, Time2depth velocity modelling, Depth uncertainty analysis, Seismic data processing support • Experience with Petrel, DELFI would be a differentiator. Position Sr.Reservoir Engineer for RCP Navi Mumbai Job Accountabilities (duties and responsibilities). Will be accountable for Reservoir engineering studies and preparation and update of depletion plan of D1-D3, R Cluster and Satellite and MJ Fields. Will be responsible for well performance analysis and well management including MBAL, IAM, Decline analysis for production planning, evaluating field performance. Will be responsible for carrying out independently simulation studies and production forecasting. Will be responsible for analysis and documentation of monthly and quarterly reports He will be responsible for recovery optimisation for the field and capturing risks and uncertainties and preparing the mitigation measures like well intervention/infill wells. Will be involved in interaction with DGH, partners and third party studies Will prepare the technical presentation and fully participate in regular TCM/Workshops with JV partners. Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills) Independently carrying out Reservoir Simulation studies using software Eclipse/CMG. Independently carrying out classical Reservoir engineering and well test interpretation. Working Knowledge of software- MBAL, PROSPER, WELLFLO, Pansystem, Ecrin. Good analytical skill in field performance and risk and uncertainty analysis Good knowledge about Fundamentals of Geology, Geophysics, Petro physics and Production Engineering. Good Communication skills and Analytical skills Qualification: Bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering Experience: 5 years Reservoir Engineering & field development experience inclusive of association with subsurface activities in a producing field.
