The ideal candidate for this role should have expertise in various aspects of Design and Layout Engineering, Estimation, and BOQ preparation. In terms of Design, you will be responsible for tasks such as power cable sizing, conducting Lightning protection risk studies, and designing lighting layouts using DIALux software. You should also possess proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, including VBA programming for automating calculations. For Layout Engineering, Estimation, and BOQ preparation, you should have a strong understanding and hands-on experience with BIM software like REVIT, PDMS, as well as 2D CAD software such as AutoCAD, Microstation. Your responsibilities will include conceptualizing, developing, detailing, and preparing Substation GA and GFC drawings in compliance with IE rules and regulations. You will also be tasked with creating basic, detailed, and GFC Single line diagrams, as well as preparing drawings for lighting, cable tray, earthing, lightning, conduiting, and wiring. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating power and control cable schedules, tray sizing, earthing schedules, as well as BOQ/BOM estimations. A keen attention to detail and a thorough understanding of the design and engineering processes are essential for success in this role.,
