Responsibilities Design and implement stylized rendering-pipelines and post-processing effects. Collaborate with art directors, 3D artists, and Producers to achieve a consistent visual style. Create visual effects tailored for a stylized look, such as cel-shading, painterly rendering, and toon outlines. Stay up to date on rendering trends and techniques, especially within stylized and indie game aesthetics. Requirements Strong understanding of lighting, shading, and stylized art pipelines. A portfolio showcasing stylized rendering work in games, VFX, or demos. Knowledge of rendering optimization techniques, including occlusion culling. Strong cross-disciplinary communication skills. Nice to Have Experience with 2D/3D hybrid art styles. Familiarity with tools like Blender, Substance, Maya, or Houdini. Passion for storytelling through visual atmosphere.
