You will be part of the GTAC-OFN team, where your main responsibility will be to provide support for all issues within the OFN network. This includes diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues. Your role will involve acting as a liaison between customers, NOC, and other teams like engineering and architecture to ensure timely issue resolution. As an operational role, your deliverables will directly impact day-to-day operations. You should be capable of guiding professional or technical staff and reviewing the quality of their work. Your key responsibilities will include technical administration and troubleshooting to maintain the efficient functionality of the solution. You will be involved in incident validation, incident analysis, and providing solution recommendations. Additionally, you will assist in developing, revising, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures and Working Instructions. You will also serve as a point of escalation for Level-3 Support and coordinate with different teams on escalations, tracking, performance issues, and outages. Furthermore, you will be expected to provide recommendations for tuning and optimizing systems, processes, procedures, and policies. It will be crucial for you to maintain an inventory of equipment and procedures used by the operations team, regularly evaluating and updating them as needed. Desired skill sets for this role include a good understanding of implementation, installation, integration troubleshooting, and overall functionalities. Experience in troubleshooting platform-related issues, data backup, restoration, and retention is also essential. It is important to stay updated with the latest technologies in the domain, with specific knowledge in DWDM and Subsea Cable technologies.,
