Job Description

The Functional Consultant is the subject matter expert in OTC module of S4 HANA. You will serve as a subject matter expert collaborating with business processes peers to solve problems and provide advice on various complex business-related issues. Your role will involve advising on the use of technology to streamline business processes and working with leadership to develop ideas and solutions for presentation to business processes peers. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing business processes, defining functional specifications, and configuring solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. As a Functional Consultant, you will configure, develop, and implement SAP systems, ensuring smooth integration with existing IT business solutions. You will actively participate in projects as an SAP expert, lead functional areas, and support project leadership in implementation projects. It is essential to stay updated on the latest SAP offerings, updates, and developments to maintain expertise in the field. The ideal candidate should possess 8-10 years of industry experience or deep functional experience, along with a Master's/Bachelor's/Vocational Degree. Fluent English is mandatory, and proficiency in any other language is a plus. Experience in the S4 HANA OTC module is required, as well as expertise in integration with other modules such as FI, CO, MM, etc. A minimum of 3 years of SAP experience, preferably working on global projects in the manufacturing industry, is necessary. Familiarity with FIORI is advantageous, and prior consulting experience is preferred. Candidates should have a proven track record of leading SAP implementation and upgrade projects. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented and highly organized individuals who can manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously will thrive in this role. Proactivity, self-motivation, and a commitment to continuous improvement and learning are key attributes. Flexibility and a willingness to travel to meet client needs are required, with estimated travel ranging from 40-60%.
