Subject Matter Expert for Virtualization

As a Software Engineer at the company, you will be a part of the virtualization and Hypervisor team in the Automotive domain. Your primary responsibility will involve the development and design of systems within the Hypervisor stack. Key Responsibilities: - Understand requirements, design, develop, and debug system software for automotive Cluster & Infotainment systems. - Analyze customer and internal requirements to create software designs. - Familiarity with system software, drivers, system architecture, design methodologies, and software platform integration with hardware bring-up. - Conduct code reviews and other activities to ensure high-quality results. - Collaborate effectively with distributed global teams. - Handle customer queries and calls and provide accurate work progress reports. - Identify technical dependencies & risks early in the development stage. - Define inter-module interfaces and document them. - Coordinate software development with peers within the company, including occasional travel for training or coordination. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Science or Electrical/Electronics/Communication Engineering. What You Need: - Proficiency in device trees in Linux. - Experience with Android Framework & Build system. - Knowledge of tools like git/repo. - Understanding of Linux kernel internals (memory management, interrupt handling, DMA subsystems). - Familiarity with QNX Hypervisor. - Knowledge of ARM GIC, Timers, debug subsystem (ARMv8 architecture). - Work experience in ARM-based Multicore systems. - 14+ years of hands-on experience in Infotainment/Cockpit System SW Development/Design for Automotive Electronics systems. - Experience in architecting Infotainment/Cockpit Security solutions. - Proficiency in Multilayered Software architecture. - Experience with Agile methodologies, Configuration (Perforce, etc.), and Project Management tools. Nice to Have: - Ability to quickly resolve technical and team management/performance issues. - Dedication to learning new technologies and testing methods. - Self-driven and innovative mindset for continuous improvements in the development process. - Resourcefulness in triaging integration problems and coordinating with multiple teams for issue resolution. - Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal relationship skills.
