Works with project management teams to prevent mistakes and defects during project execution, provide confidence that Hitachi Energy and customer quality requirements will be fulfilled, establish customer and stakeholder needs/expectations, drive the utilization of process management across the project to deliver consistent results, minimizing variation and maximizing efficiencies. The driving process is compliance and adapting improvements in processes. Educate project members in quality processes and routines. Coordinates quality related work in the project, follow-up and act on deviations and changes. Analyses quality workhours and monitors project staffing plans and project quality work-hour expenditures, including site. Cooperate with functional managers and HR department in project staffing. Having experience in managerial roles will be an added advantage. Proven experience in leading and developing global programs. Demonstrated experience in leading and managing change in a dynamic, international, and fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical skills and data-driven decision-making. Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills Broad knowledge of organization / area of operations. Job Summary: The Sourcing/Subcontracting Specialist is responsible for managing the sourcing and procurement of materials, components, and services from external suppliers and subcontractors to meet project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Supplier and Subcontractor Identification: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/subcontractors based on their capabilities, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure ongoing cooperation. Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare and manage contracts to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Procurement Management: Ensure timely procurement of goods and services in line with production schedules. Develop and execute procurement strategies for key components and services, optimizing cost and lead times. Cost Control and Budget Management: Monitor and control procurement costs to stay within project budgets. Risk Management: Assess risks related to the supply chain and subcontracting activities, including delays, quality issues, and price fluctuations. Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of supply. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with engineering, production, and other departments to ensure that sourcing and subcontracting activities align with project objectives. Provide technical support and information to internal teams regarding sourced components. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier performance, and contracts. Generate regular reports on sourcing and procurement activities, highlighting any issues or opportunities for improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field. Minimum 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry. Strong on negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with supply chain software and procurement tools. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
