About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and empathetic Student Counsellor & Telecaller to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for students and parents—engaging with them through phone calls, understanding their academic needs, explaining our educational app’s offerings, and guiding them towards the right courses. You will play a vital role in ensuring students’ learning success while achieving enrolment and conversion targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents to introduce and explain our app’s programs.
• Counsel students/parents on course options, academic pathways, and career goals.
• Conduct inbound and outbound counselling sessions via phone, video calls, or chat.
• Understand student needs and recommend appropriate courses and solutions.
• Maintain a follow-up system to track enquiries and ensure timely enrolments.
• Keep accurate student records in the CRM and update progress regularly.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets for calls, counselling sessions, and conversions.
• Provide feedback on student needs, market demands, and app improvements to the internal team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field).
• 0–3 years of experience in telecalling, academic counselling, sales, or customer service (EdTech experience is a plus).
• Excellent communication skills in English and regional languages.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic and persuasive approach.
• Comfortable working with targets and deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of CRM tools, MS Office, and online communication platforms.
