Student Counselor cum Pre-Primary Teacher

QUALIFICATION:

• Master's degree in Psychology
• Minimum of 2 years professional counseling experience, preferably in an educational field.
• Experience with counseling principles, techniques, and practices as applied to students' problems and developmental needs.
• Excellent active listening and communication skills.
• Patient, friendly, and accommodating personality.
• Social perceptiveness and an understanding of body language.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for handling the counseling role in the school
• 1–3 years of experience teaching pre-primary or primary children (preferred).
• Must be able to handle the children patiently

JOB DUTIES:

• Listen students concern about the academic, emotional or social problems
• To help in student admission process related to their problems, plans, goals and actions.
• Resolve the conflicts between the students and teachers.
• Improve parents/teachers relationships
• Organize peer counseling programs
• Work on academic boards to improve learning conditions

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Candidates with public school experience.
• Excellent communication skill
• Proficiency in subject relevant to the post
