Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Structural Design & Analysis:
Perform detailed design and analysis of concrete and steel structures using relevant codes (IS, IRC, BS, ACI, or Eurocodes).
Drawing Review & Preparation:
Review and prepare structural drawings, bar bending schedules, and reinforcement details using CAD and BIM tools.
Construction Support:
Provide technical support during construction, ensuring structural elements are executed as per approved designs and specifications.
Load Calculations:
Conduct load and stress calculations, including dead load, live load, wind, and seismic analysis.
Coordination with Teams:
Collaborate with architects, geotechnical, MEP, and civil teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
Site Inspection & Quality Control:
Inspect reinforcement, shuttering, and concreting works; verify quality compliance with project standards.
Material Selection:
Recommend appropriate materials and construction techniques based on site and project requirements.
Design Documentation:
Maintain proper documentation of design assumptions, calculations, and revisions for review and approval.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure designs meet safety, sustainability, and code compliance standards.
Reporting & Communication:
Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and communicate effectively with project management and clients.
