Job Summary The Plant Head for the Solar Structure Line is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Solar Structure production process, ensuring operational excellence, quality, safety, and efficiency. This leadership role involves managing the Solar Structure lines day-to-day operations, driving productivity, optimizing resources, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational goals. The Plant Head will lead a team of supervisors, engineers, and workers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Key Responsibilities 1. Production Management o Oversee the entire Solar Structure line, including planning, scheduling, and execution of production activities to meet delivery timelines and quality standards. o Ensure optimal utilization of machinery, raw materials, and manpower to achieve production targets. o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, downtime, yield, and scrap rates, implementing corrective actions as needed. 2. Quality Assurance o Ensure all fabricated products meet customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality control requirements. o Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to implement robust quality control processes and address non-conformities. o Drive initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and waste in the Solar Structure process. 3. Team Leadership & Development o Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of supervisors, engineers, technicians, and operators to achieve operational goals. o Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and facilitate skill development programs. o Foster a positive, safe, and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability. 4. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement o Identify opportunities to enhance Solar Structure processes through lean manufacturing, automation, or technological upgrades. o Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety. o Drive Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies to improve efficiency and productivity. 5. Safety & Compliance o Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and training to maintain a safe working environment. o Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations related to manufacturing operations. 6. Budget & Resource Management o Develop and manage the plants budget, controlling costs related to labor, materials, and maintenance. o Oversee maintenance schedules for Production equipment to minimize downtime and extend asset life. 7. Stakeholder Collaboration o Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, supply chain and sales to align production with business objectives. o Provide regular updates to senior management on plant performance, challenges, and strategic recommendations. o Act as the primary point of contact for customers or auditors visiting the Solar Structure facility.

Roles and Responsibilities 1. Project Planning and Implementation Implement Aparna standards of excellence in all assigned projects; Drive continuous improvement, value engineering and innovation across all projects Survey the environment for latest developments and best practices in construction equipment, techniques & tools; Evaluate the feasibility of implementing the same in Aparna Constantly share learning and experiences from projects within the Department 2. Operations Study of drawings and verification with approved drawings. Work closely with the consultants and architects to ensure timely receipt of drawings (and BOQs); Highlight concerns / issues and provide inputs on the feasibility / practicality of construction. Develop a project plan with timelines, resources and critical milestones; Obtain a sign-off on the plan from the senior management and circulate the same to all concerned departments Ensure construction activities are as per approved work policy. Undertake cost control measures and ensure labour planning is within budgets. Assist in conducting periodic audits to drive compliance with ISO requirements. Adhere to quality & safety standards (statutory and organizational); Ensure timely documentation and maintenance of records Oversee housekeeping at project sites Co-ordinate with PMC and mock-up for works. Adhere to project targets with respect to timelines, cost and quality. Continuously monitor and report the project status with senior management. Attend all project review meetings with the project team, consultants and contractors; Ensure timely highlighting and resolution of design inadequacies, non-compliance to material indents and all other issues Certification of bills and checking with standard quantity; Follow up with finance to ensure timely payment for timely payment of bills to contractors, vendors etc. Work closely and coordinate with various departments (Marketing, Finance, Legal, Liaison) including PMC/ Consultants and sub-functions within Execution to ensure smooth business operations. Interact with Legal and Liaisoning Department for statutory approvals and any site-related issues; Consult with HR on issues related to statutory compliances with respect to the contractor Maintain periodic MIS on the progress of the project Ensure post project reviews are in place and include lessons learnt exercises which identify both positive and negative outcomes to be actioned. 3.
