Structural Steel Modeler- VB

vConstruct, a Pune based Construction Technology company, is currently seeking process-oriented individuals with an academic or professional background in Civil Engineering for the position of Structural Steel Modeler. As a Structural Steel Modeler at vConstruct, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality deliverables and outputs within specified timelines. You will be responsible for independently managing assigned work, closely collaborating with project leads and project managers to ensure project implementation is well-planned. Your duties will include carefully analyzing project documents, creating accurate 3D models for steel using Tekla software, participating in trade coordination meetings, generating 2D drawing deliverables, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of work before client submissions. In addition to project-related tasks, you will also be engaged in non-project responsibilities such as improving technical and software workflows, providing training and coaching to team members, and exploring automation opportunities to enhance current workflows. Effective communication with clients regarding project deliverables is essential, with most client meetings scheduled between 5 PM and 10 PM IST. The ideal candidate for this role should be a detail-oriented team player with a flexible approach, capable of managing multiple tasks, delivering high-quality work, and meeting deadlines consistently. You should have a passion for construction processes, BIM, BIM software, and construction technology, along with over 3 years of hands-on experience in working with Tekla Structures or other 3D modeling tools.
