As the Lead Civil & Structural Engineer for Offshore projects, you will be responsible for reviewing and understanding client specifications, raising clarifications, and deviations not in line with company standards. Your expertise in structural design engineering will be crucial for Offshore and FPSO projects. You will perform structural analysis of modules/skids and design them with applicable loads and combinations, ensuring member sizing meets requirements. Additionally, you will create or review structural design basis, project specifications, and calculation reports. Your role will involve preparing, reviewing, and approving structural MTOs, technical requisitions, and engineering hours estimates. Collaborating in 3D model reviews, resolving clashes, and reviewing outsourced engineering design deliverables will be essential tasks. Furthermore, you will actively support and maintain the company's HSSE program, ensuring a safe work environment. Travel may be required based on project needs. Your knowledge of industry standards such as DNV, API, ASCE, ACI, AISC, BS, EURO, and other international detailing standards, along with proficiency in commercial engineering design programs like STAAD and SACS, will be valuable assets in this role. Your effective implementation of quality systems, procedures, management of change, and revision control will contribute to the success of projects.
