As a Structural Engineering Intern at our company, you will assist in the design and analysis of structures affected by fluid forces, such as dams, bridges, offshore platforms, and hydraulic systems. Your role will involve utilizing your strong understanding of fluid mechanics to contribute to various projects. Key Responsibilities: - Knowledge of Fluid Behaviour: You will utilize your understanding of fluid statics and dynamics to evaluate pressures, buoyancy, and flow-related impacts. - Basic Fluid-Structure Interaction Skills: You will support calculations of fluid pressures, estimate hydrodynamic loads (drag, lift, wave forces), and assist in structural response analysis. - Interest in Civil Engineering Applications: Specifically focusing on structures exposed to water and wind forces. - Technical Proficiency: You are expected to be familiar with CFD tools, have knowledge of structural analysis software (optional), and possess a basic understanding of material behavior under stress. Qualifications Required: - Education Level: Priority will be given to Masters and PhD students for this internship position. - Language Requirement: Fluency in English is essential as the role involves communication with international clients and collaborators.
