Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Structural Engineer role based in Chennai. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and evaluating structural systems using STAAD Pro software. Key responsibilities include assessing project requirements, performing calculations, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety norms. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including project managers and architects, will also be an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in STAAD Pro and structural analysis software
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, structural design, and material mechanics
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Problem-solving and analytical skills for addressing design challenges
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field
• Prior experience (0 to 3 years) in structural engineering or relevant projects preferred
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards is beneficial
