Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze structural systems (steel / RCC /industrial structures)
• Prepare structural drawings using AutoCAD (and other relevant design software)
• Design structural supports, frames, platforms, and foundations
• Perform load calculations and structural analysis as per IS codes
• Prepare design calculations, BOQs, and technical documentation
• Review drawings and ensure compliance with safety standards and codes
• Coordinate with fabrication, project, and site teams
• Provide technical support during execution and installation
• Optimize designs for cost, safety, and constructability
• Support tender drawings and technical proposals, if required
• Maintain proper design records and revision control

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist in value engineering and design improvements
• Support client and consultant discussions on technical matters
• Ensure designs align with project timelines and budgets
• Guide junior engineers or draftsmen, if applicable
• Adhere to company quality, safety, and documentation standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• BE / BTech in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 26 years of relevant experience (customize as needed)
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (STAAD / ETABS / SAFE preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Willingness to relocate to Coimbatore
