Structural Engineer (BIM)

As a Structural Engineer (BIM) at Sumanam Engineering Services Consultant, your role involves developing and coordinating advanced 3D BIM models using software like REVIT Structural & REVIT Architecture. Your responsibilities include: - Creating and maintaining detailed 3D models - Modeling LOD 400 to LOD 500 phase structural and architectural elements - Developing and managing BIM families for various services - Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure model accuracy - Performing clash detection and coordination of federated models - Conducting constructability reviews, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation support - Ensuring data integrity and consistency across various disciplines - Staying updated on BIM technology developments - Using CAD and structural design software to generate models - Preparing estimates for civil and structural works Qualifications required for this role: - A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in structural design and BIM modeling - Proficiency in Revit (Structural & Architecture), Navisworks, and AutoCAD - Strong understanding of structural systems and construction processes - Knowledge of LOD modeling standards and BIM execution planning - Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills - Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations If you are interested in contributing to cutting-edge infrastructure and building projects, please send your resume and portfolio to hrd@sumanam.org with the subject line: Application for Structural Engineer (BIM).
