As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in Machine Design in the Space Technology industry, you will be responsible for developing configurations and designing spacecraft components. As a Python Developer at VCollab, your primary responsibility will be to support VCollab customers by creating custom scripts and interfaces to enable them to read FEA, CFD, and CAD files of different formats. You will extract the required data and provide 3-D visualization reports to the users. Interacting with pre- and post-sales support, you will identify customization and scripting needs, develop, and document Python scripts to automate and customize VCollab application execution for required support. What you can look forward to as Technical Lead: Collaboration within a global CAE team operating at different regions internationally. Product development support using CAE simulations. Perform calculations and simulations on brake components. Dynamic analyses for NVH related to performance. Support new and further development of simulation methodology. Develop correlation models for NVH, Test Simulations. Verify the stress results with hand calculations and prepare standard stress reports. Your Profile as Technical Lead: Graduate or post graduate degree in mechanical engineering or similar field related to structural mechanics. Advanced knowledge in at least one of the following topics: structural mechanics, structural dynamics, vibrations. 6 to 8 years of experience in CAE static and dynamic simulations with advanced knowledge in ANSYS (workbench & spaceclaim; Knowledge of APDL scripts preferable) Experience of meshing and post processing using HyperMesh / HyperWorks is an advantage.
