The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Undertaking design and planning activities on maritime projects - container terminals, mining/bulk, oil/gas, marinas, ports and harbors, offshore wind, coastal resiliency and development schemes Independently prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications and documents, and oversee the development of technical deliverables prepared by junior structural engineers. Job description Technical Director Structural Design to lead the structural design function for iconic and large-scale commercial developments , including high-rise buildings, data centers, IT parks , and corporate campuses . The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in complex structural systems, seismic and wind design, and the use of cutting-edge design software and digital tools. This is a strategic leadership role that combines technical oversight with innovation, cost optimization, and team development. Key Responsibilities: Strategic & Technical Leadership Define structural design standards and strategies for large-scale commercial and high-rise projects. Lead the conceptual and detailed structural design for towers, podiums, basements, and specialized infrastructure like server halls (for data centers). Innovate and implement sustainable and resilient design solutions tailored to seismic zones, high wind regions, and heavy-load requirements (especially for data centers). Project Oversight Review and approve structural designs, drawings, and calculations for compliance with IS codes, NBC, and relevant international standards (ACI, Eurocode, IBC). Provide technical direction from pre-design through construction documentation, ensuring coordination across architectural and MEP disciplines. Ensure structural systems meet both safety requirements and architectural vision.
