Work closely with fabricators and project managers to optimize designs for manufacturing. Maintain organized project documentation and revisions. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Software Expertise: AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), SketchUp (optional), Navisworks (preferred). Experience: 5-8 years in architectural metal detailing (railings, cladding, panels, structural elements). Strong understanding of metal fabrication, welding details, material properties, and installation methods. Knowledge of architectural and structural codes (AISC, ASTM, or relevant local standards). Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints, construction drawings, and structural layouts. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with engineers, fabricators, and project managers. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Laser Cutting, CNC Machining, or Sheet Metal Fabrication. Familiarity with parametric modeling and scripting in Revit.
