Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Onboarding Draft and post job adverts; screen CVs; coordinate interviews; manage offer letters and onboarding paperwork. Conduct reference/background checks and coordinate induction activities. Maintain candidate pipelines and relationships with job portals, agencies, and campuses. Payroll & Statutory Compliance Coordinate monthly payroll inputs (attendance, leaves, OT, deductions) and liaise with payroll vendor or in-house payroll team. Manage PF (Provident Fund), ESI (Employee State Insurance), Professional Tax, TDS registration/filings and ensure timely deposits and statutory returns. Maintain accurate employee records for statutory audits. Employee Relations & HR Administration Handle employee queries, grievances, and routine disciplinary or performance-related processes. Prepare and manage employment contracts, offer letters, confirmation letters, promotion/ transfer documentation, and exit formalities. Track leaves, attendance, probation periods, and notice periods. Policy, Reporting & HRIS Support implementation and communication of HR policies (leave, travel, remote-work, anti-harassment, etc.). Maintain and update HRIS/HR databases; generate regular HR reports and metrics. Assist with internal audits and support external audits where required. Learning & Performance Support Coordinate training logistics and maintain training records. Assist in performance appraisal cycles collection of feedback, documentation, and tracking key dates. Compliance & Best Practices Keep up to date with local labor law changes (Shops & Establishment Act, Factories Act as applicable, maternity/leave laws, etc.) and advise on implications. Implement process improvements to reduce compliance risk and improve employee experience. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 25 years HR generalist experience in India (for mid-level).
