Strength and Conditioning Coach

A leading Aquatic Centre in Bangalore is looking for a Strength and Conditioning Coach to join the team ASAP!

Educational Qualification & Experience:

• Degree in Exercise & Sports Science or Sports Physiotherapy from a recognised University.
• Relevant certificate in Strength and Conditioning.
• Working experience of 2-3 years (desirable) with demonstrated ability to handle and supervise athletes.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the elite team of coaches in order to formulate training programs for pre-competitive and competitive batches of swimmers.
• To transform athletic potential into peak swimming performance through scientific training methods.
• Actively supervise all the strength and conditioning sessions and ensure proper implementation of programs.
• To ensure that the protocol of safety is followed rigorously while performing sessions.
• Actively engage in data collection, collation and analysis. Also, to share the progress reports with 'Head of Coaching Unit and 'Head of Centre' on periodic basis.
• Development of future programs in line with the requirements and status of swimmers.
• Demonstrated knowledge of injury rehabilitation and management of load.
• To ensure the upkeep of all the strength and cardio machines.
• Suggest ways to initiate and administer the membership programs for general public.
