As a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst at Medtronic, your primary responsibility will be to support warranty claim orders and part supply operations, ensuring efficient and effective supply chain processes. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - Perform supply chain and logistics functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection, and distribution. - Create integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, purchasing, and logistics) and outside suppliers. - Plan and analyze activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning, and quality control of production materials. - Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions. In this role, you will be an established and productive individual contributor, working independently with general supervision on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments. You will set objectives for your job area to meet the objectives of projects and assignments, contributing to the completion of project milestones. Additionally, you may have some involvement in cross-functional assignments. Your communication will primarily be with internal contacts, sharing information, status, needs, and issues to inform, gain input, and support decision-making. You may also provide guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals and/or employees in the Support Career Stream. To excel in this role, you will need practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within the job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
