Our Core Values that guide us on our mission are Service Quality, Teamwork, Accountability, Efficiency, Adaptability, Communication, and Integrity POSITION OVERVIEW The Healthcare Interface Project Manager is responsible for supporting the Director of Software Operations Corporate in the planning, coordination and successful completion of information system projects, which may be internal and/or involve new and existing clients. This role acts as the liaison between internal teams, healthcare providers, EHR vendors, and third-party systems to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of interoperability solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong project management expertise, a deep understanding of healthcare data exchange standards, and experience coordinating technical teams. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Oversee the testing, validation, and deployment of HL7 interfaces to ensure data integrity, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards. · Develop working knowledge of internal systems and software i.e. XactCode, PM+ practice management software, and the electronic health record software. · Analyze electronic files received from hospitals for errors and omissions that may inhibit successful medical claims filing. · Work with Director of Software Operations and Programming to ensure demographic, radiology report, and daylong file information is received in a workable format. · Assist the Director of Software Operations with other interfaces such as labs and diagnostics imaging. · Tracks project management schedules, follows up with internal and external resources, ensuring that the intended timelines are met. · Schedules and coordinates client and vendor meetings as needed. · Researches and resolves issues for Hospital clients relating to interfaces. · Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, meeting notes, interface specifications, and change requests. · Facilitate post-implementation reviews and support continuous improvement efforts. · May assist as implementation coordinator for new hospital clients. · May serve as a liaison between clients and internal departments. · Meets or exceeds metrics for the position as established over time. . May perform additional duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS · Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in healthcare or information technology role. · Associate’s degree in healthcare, business or information technology field. · Strong understanding of HL7 message structures (ADT, ORM, ORU, etc.), interface engines, and data workflows. · The ability to understand and work with network IT to build and coordinate communication channels. · Proven experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously. · Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. · Familiarity with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements related to healthcare data exchange. · Demonstrate a strong customer service focus. · Desktop computer skills to include intermediate skills in Microsoft Office. · Master Pivot Tables, Formulas, Macros, Data Analysis & More · Demonstrated ability to navigate new software systems. · Strong analytical and organization skills. · Must be self-motivated, with a work ethic of dedication and the discipline to work independently. · Basic knowledge of medical terminology. · Knowledge of Practice Management and/or Electronic Medical Record Software.
