Prudential Health India (PHI) is dedicated to improving the health of Indians and bridging the health protection gap. As a Zero to One team, PHI is embarking on a greenfield health insurance project in India with a focus on creating customer-centric journeys and delivering a unique and personalized experience. PHI is seeking a talented candidate for the role of Technology Solution Designing, with potential titles including Solution Designer, Senior Solution Designer, or (Asst. Director) Solution Designer based on experience, expertise, and performance. This individual contributor role requires 7 - 12 years of experience and is based in Mumbai. The job profile at PHI involves building a cloud-native, microservices-oriented, and open technology platform specifically tailored to the health insurance domain. The platform comprises multiple applications supporting various business functions, all designed to be well-integrated and orchestrated. The applications can be COTS vendor software, Prudential Group capabilities, or software developed by the in-house PHI engineering team. The ideal candidate will ensure that all applications follow common services, platforms, architectural principles, and design patterns. Key responsibilities include converting business requirements into detailed technology requirements efficiently, ensuring minimal gaps, and facilitating thorough testing of technology and business requirements. The candidate is expected to understand the long-term architectural direction, evaluate business requirements, design solutions considering various criteria, and own the preparation of detailed design specifications for application development and modification. The desired candidate should have experience in health insurance, IT services related to health insurance, or health insurance companies. They should possess proven experience as a Technology solution leader, expertise in UML, understanding of modern design patterns, and familiarity with solution architecture and cloud design keywords. Good to have skills include deep architecture understanding, experience in streaming technology like Kafka, knowledge of Enterprise Integration and Messaging Patterns, familiarity with Architecture Frameworks like TOGAF, and understanding of DevOps. Personal traits essential for this role include being a people-oriented leader, excelling in collaboration and teamwork, strong communication skills for engaging with senior management, problem-solving abilities, creativity in developing solutions, hands-on approach, attention to detail, ability to work independently on multiple initiatives, and excellent organizational and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering, along with relevant certifications for key skills. Proficiency in written and spoken English is required for effective communication.,
