As a Software Engineer at Optum, you will play a crucial role in implementing software solutions as part of a 4-6 person scrum team. Your responsibilities will include coaching other software engineers, collaborating with lead SWEs, managers, and peers to understand priorities and technical strategies, and contributing to the development of complex software components. Ensuring code quality, through effective testing, peer reviews, and documentation, will be a key focus area. You will also have the opportunity to influence the system and processes that drive its delivery, acting as an individual contributor while providing guidance to your scrum team.
