Position: Lead - Listed Indian Equity Investments (Large Family Office) Role: - Will lead the family office's investments in listed Indian Equity Stocks, mainly large cap stocks - Will work on tracking the Indian macro environment/ politico-economic environment and coming up with specific investment themes - Regularly evaluate investment opportunities in the Indian large cap listed equity space - Work closely with Promoters by pitching specific investment themes - Provide fundamental company specific investment research including business, commercial and financial due diligence on potential Indian listed companies - Providing regular reports and metrics on portfolio companies to key stakeholders - Track allocations, market valuations, and fund/asset performance, flagging under-performance and recommending exits or switches. - Provide analytical support to the stakeholders on business assessment, strategic initiatives, market developments/trends as well as regulatory changes with the objective of ensuring a sustainable investment portfolio - The family office listed equity investments will mainly focus on large cap stocks Requirements : - MBA/ CA - 7-14 years of financial services experience in Equity Research or fund management preferably at a research house / asset management company/ PMS/ family office - Incumbent should be analytical and detail-oriented, collecting, analyzing and interpreting data from a top-down and bottom-up perspective for equity investment strategies - Ability and interest to interact with C-suite and key stakeholders at public companies - Experience of investing/ conducting research across sectors will be required - The ideal candidate has a strong interest in economics, politics, business assessment, strategic initiatives, monitoring of market developments/trends as well as keeps himself/herself up to date on regulatory as well as climate change related objectives, ultimately to benefit an active investment management approach - Entrepreneurial attitude, willingness to think outside the box - Exceptional problem solving skills using analysis, sound logic and judgement, evaluate alternatives and recommend options and scenarios - Good oral and written English communication skills Location : Hyderabad This position is for a Client of Vertex Corporate Services which is a Large Family Office focussed on investments
