As an Area Vehicle Service Manager at Ather, you will be based at the Zonal office in Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, or Pune, working closely with the Zonal Vehicle Service Manager as a member of the service delivery team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the key performance indicators (KPIs) of the Service teams are met while prioritizing exceptional customer experience at service center locations. Your duties will include monitoring and controlling service quality according to Ather standards by implementing best practices and Service Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at Service Centers and for the Service Fleet. You will also be responsible for monitoring customer complaints, ensuring prompt resolution, and taking corrective actions as necessary. Additionally, you will provide technical support to the Service team across various locations, support service marketing activities in the city, and assist in establishing Vehicle Service setups in all launch markets. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the Service Strategy team to document Service SOPs and Service Manuals, ensuring a high level of competence for the Service Centre and Service Fleet teams through Training Needs Analysis. Your role will also involve managing PDI (support) and Warranty Management effectively. To excel in this role, you should have experience in After Sales Operations with strong team management and collaboration skills. A customer-first attitude, the ability to anticipate customer needs, and exceed expectations are essential. A good understanding of EV technology is advantageous, along with the ability to control operational costs, optimize tools/equipment, and SOPs to minimize expenses, and demonstrate proficiency in scaling operations and enhancing value. As an ideal candidate, you should hold a Graduate degree in Business/Engineering from a Tier I/Tier II Institute with 6-10 years of experience in managing service delivery operations, overseeing teams of 20+ or multiple workshops. Your competencies should include diagnostic skills in mechanical and electrical aspects, crisis management capabilities, and service operation management skills. The role of a Product Owner involves refining and decomposing Epics into Stories with clear acceptance criteria. You will be responsible for ordering the backlog based on customer value and effort considerations while working closely with the delivery team to drive solutions that meet business requirements and realize intended business value.
