Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories to achieve cost savings, mitigate risks, and drive innovation. Conduct market research and supplier benchmarking to identify and qualify new suppliers. Lead RFPs, RFQs, and tendering processes, including negotiations and contract award recommendations. Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers while ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards. Analyze spend data and trends to identify opportunities for strategic sourcing and process improvements. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure high performance and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs). Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., finance, legal, operations, engineering) to understand requirements and align sourcing strategies. Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations. Monitor supplier performance metrics and develop corrective action plans as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, CSCP) is preferred. 37 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain roles. Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills. Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with global sourcing and supplier development. Familiarity with sustainability and ESG considerations in procurement. Working knowledge of contract law and risk management principles. Cross-functional project leadership experience.
