You will be responsible for the basic and detail design engineering of general utility services and piping. This includes the preparation of PFD and P&ID of general utility services, High-medium-low pressure steam services, low pressure fuel gas services, pipe sizing calculation, pressure drop calculation, and selection of equipment or sizing of equipment. Additionally, you will be involved in the preparation of piping detail scheme, layout, BOQ, procurement specifications, piping load data, stress analysis, assignment for structural and civil, and piping construction drawings. Your role will also entail reviewing structural and civil drawings related to piping or equipment or system, as well as preparing technical specifications for various components such as Compressed air station or compressor, Low pressure fuel gas boosting station or gas booster, Low pressure fuel gas mixing station, Expansion bellow, Spring support, Trap and strainer, etc. You will be required to prepare technical evaluation and technical recommendations considering technical as well as commercial aspects, comparative statement reports, bid evaluation, etc. The ideal candidate for this position should have 8 to 14 years of experience in the field and hold a BE / B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering.,

Key Responsibilities: Lead all technical efforts related to industrial filtration and pressure vessel projects, from inquiry to final delivery. Serve as the principal application engineer , interpreting client specifications and translating them into effective filtration solutions. Guide and oversee all process calculations , including flow rate, pressure drop, sizing, and filtration element selection. Ensure accurate vessel sizing and mechanical design , meeting applicable standards such as ASME, PED, and DIN. Oversee and validate the creation of P&IDs, GA drawings, fabrication drawings , and complete design packages using AutoCAD and design tools. Engage directly with customers and consultants during the pre-sales and post-sales phases to clarify technical specifications, conduct meetings, and support the sales team in generating accurate technical proposals. Lead cross-functional coordination with sales, production, quality, procurement , and project management teams to ensure alignment across departments. Manage, mentor, and grow a team of process engineers and CAD designers, ensuring adherence to quality and project timelines. Provide final approval of engineering documentation, calculations, and deliverables before submission to clients or internal departments. Drive innovation in product and process design, continuously seeking improvements in cost, quality, and performance. Represent the company in client meetings, technical presentations, audits, and industry forums as a subject matter expert. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (Masters preferred) Minimum 15 years of experience in filtration systems, pressure vessel design, or process engineering in related industries In-depth knowledge of industrial filters, strainers, coalescers, separators , and their engineering applications Strong expertise in AutoCAD , process simulation tools, and engineering documentation Familiar with ASME Section VIII, PED, U-Stamp, and other relevant codes and standards Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing end-to-end technical responsibilities Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with senior stakeholders and clients Strategic thinker with high attention to detail, planning, and problem-solving abilities
