Job Description As a Video Analyst at Storyful, located in New Delhi, India, you will be an integral part of our team dedicated to identifying and evaluating short-form videos, user-generated content (UGC), and internet culture. Founded by pioneering journalists, Storyful is a premium news, video, and strategic intelligence partner acquired by News Corp in 2013. Our mission is to provide trusted, cross-platform content and context in a complex online information environment. Your role will involve monitoring various video platforms to discover and submit content aligning with our strategy, evaluating videos for their viral potential, and curating user-generated videos for internal presentations and pitches. With your keen eye for engaging content and expertise in trends, pop culture, and video-sharing platforms, you will help us navigate the dynamic and ever-evolving Internet landscape. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor various video platforms to discover and submit relevant content - Assess online videos for their viral potential and meet tight deadlines - Search for unique and innovative videos that fulfill business and creative requirements - Evaluate and curate user-generated videos for internal presentations and pitches Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in journalism/communication/media studies or related fields preferred - Minimum 2 years of experience in video analysis or a related field - Strong instinct for recognizing compelling content - Excellent time management skills and attention to detail - Familiarity with emerging trends in video and internet culture - Ability to work under pressure and analyze videos for extended periods - Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays - Strong communication skills in English - written and spoken Preferred Skills & Knowledge: - Proficiency in Jira, Trello, and content management systems - Video editing skills are a plus Work Arrangement: Hybrid - TBD Join us at Storyful and be a part of our team that is passionate about delivering news faster, adding context to reporting, and staying at the forefront of the digital content landscape.,
