Storyboard Artist

You are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Fresher Storyboard Artist to join as part of a 6-month contractual role in Jadavpur, Kolkata. Your main responsibility will involve working closely with the creative team to visualize concepts and breathe life into stories. Your key responsibilities will include developing detailed storyboards from scripts and creative briefs, illustrating character actions, camera angles, and scene transitions, and collaborating with senior artists, directors, and writers to understand and execute the creative vision. You will also participate in brainstorming sessions, contribute creative ideas, revise and refine storyboards based on feedback, and ensure consistency in style, tone, and visual storytelling throughout the project. To excel in this role, you should possess a degree or diploma in Fine Arts, Animation, Illustration, or a related field, strong drawing, sketching, and visualization skills, and a basic knowledge of storyboard software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Storyboard Pro. Additionally, having a good understanding of composition, perspective, and storytelling principles, the ability to adapt to feedback, and work collaboratively in a creative environment is crucial. Strong communication and organizational skills, along with a creative mindset and attention to detail, will be beneficial. Preferred qualifications include internship or freelance experience in animation, film, or related fields, if applicable, and a strong portfolio showcasing your artistic and storytelling skills. This 6-month contractual role is based on-site, offering a stipend/salary ranging from 8,000 to 12,000 per month.
