Job Description

Inventory Management:

Receiving and inspecting: Checking incoming goods against purchase orders for accuracy and condition, reporting damages or discrepancies.
Storing materials: Organizing and arranging items in a designated storage area, ensuring proper shelving and accessibility.
Issuing supplies: Distributing materials based on authorized requests (requisitions).
Maintaining records: Keeping accurate records of stock levels, receipts, and issues.
Conducting stock checks: Performing regular inventory counts to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies.
Ordering supplies: Initiating purchase requisitions for items that are running low or need to be replaced.
Managing stock levels: Ensuring that the school has an adequate supply of materials while avoiding overstocking or shortages.

Store Maintenance:

Maintaining a clean and organized store:Keeping the store tidy, ensuring aisles are clear, and materials are properly stored.
Ensuring safety:Following safety procedures and maintaining a safe environment for handling materials.

Other Responsibilities:

Assisting with purchasing: Helping to identify and source necessary supplies.
Delivering supplies: Transporting materials to classrooms or other designated areas.
Preparing for events: Setting up equipment or materials for school events or activities.
Assisting with mail and packages: Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages as needed.
Potentially supervising student workers: Overseeing student employees who may assist with store tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
