As a Sr. Purchase Executive at our company, you will be responsible for managing and controlling all external suppliers, focusing on purchasing materials and finished parts for production. Your primary objectives will include ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery of parts and materials, establishing strategic relationships with key suppliers, and developing the Procurement and Store Strategy. It is essential to have exposure to electric components such as ICs, modules, resistors, inductors, diodes, etc. You will be expected to evaluate vendors, negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and terms and conditions, as well as develop suppliers through collaboration, innovation, and evaluation. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a quality culture at the vendor's end through auditing and guidance, identifying new suppliers, negotiating supply agreements, and driving continuous improvement in purchasing methods to reduce external spend. Supplier visits may be required at short notice, and you will be tasked with conducting a comprehensive review of the purchasing function to identify and implement improvements that enhance production efficiencies and ensure stringent material control to meet company targets in terms of spend, usage, scrap, and inventory levels. Team handling experience is preferred for this role, along with a qualification of B.Tech in Electronics and 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the Electronic Manufacturing Industry.
