About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead and manage the entire supply chain, procurement, and store operations for a reputed hospital chain. This is a strategic leadership role that ensures seamless availability of medical supplies, equipment, and services across multiple hospital units while optimizing cost, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Supply Chain Management: sourcing material, Oversee procurement, inventory, logistics, and vendor management across all hospital locations.Strategic Procurement: Develop and execute sourcing strategies for medical equipment, consumables, pharmaceuticals, and non-medical supplies.Vendor Development & Negotiation: Build strong supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.Inventory Optimization: Implement robust inventory control systems to minimize stock-outs and overstocking.Technology Integration: Leverage ERP systems and digital tools to streamline procurement and inventory processes.Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitor procurement budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial discipline.Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to hospital policies, statutory regulations, and accreditation standards.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of storekeepers, procurement officers, and logistics staff across locations.Reporting & Analytics: Generate regular MIS reports, KPIs, and dashboards for senior management review.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain/procurement/store management, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.Strong knowledge of medical supply chain dynamics, vendor ecosystems, and regulatory requirements.Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and inventory management tools.Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location environment with high accountability.
