Store Junior Supervisor

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt and unloading of raw materials, ensuring proper documentation such as delivery challans, invoices, and purchase orders. You will verify the quantity and quality of materials received against purchase orders in coordination with the Quality Control team. Additionally, you will issue raw materials to production and outsourcing teams as per schedules and supply raw materials to outsourcing vendors based on the Picklist provided. Your duties will also include ensuring that storage conditions meet material-specific requirements, such as rustproofing and weather protection. You will be supervising contract workmen for material handling and ensuring safe material handling practices are followed. Posting MR/Picklist in SAP and developing a systematic layout for materials in storage to optimize space utilization will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will conduct regular safety drills and training for contract workers handling materials and enforce adherence to material handling safety standards, including the use of appropriate tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Inventory management will also be a key aspect of this role.
