Store Executive

Role & responsibilities

1. Primary Roles and Responsibilities

Prepare and process Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) in SAP/ERP.

Follow FIFO/FEFO principles, wherever applicable, for physical stock and SAP/ERP records.

Maintain accurate material issue records in SAP/ERP and supporting physical documents.

Reconcile physical inventory with system stock and investigate discrepancies.

Execute all store-related transactions accurately and on time in SAP/ERP.

2. Secondary Roles and Responsibilities

Maintain records of GRNs, invoices, challans, gate passes and stock registers.

Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, Accounts and Logistics teams for smooth material movement.

Follow up on shortages, excess receipts, rejected materials and other receipt discrepancies.

Support internal, external, statutory and inventory audits by providing accurate records and documentation.

3. Key Competencies

Working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems and store transactions.

Documentation, record keeping and data accuracy.

Inventory management and stock reconciliation.

Material handling, identification, preservation and storage practices.

4. Key Performance Areas (KPAs)

Timely and accurate GRN processing and SAP/ERP transaction entry.

Accuracy of physical stock versus system stock.

Compliance with FIFO/FEFO and material storage procedures, wherever applicable.

Completeness and traceability of store documentation.

Timely escalation and closure of shortages, excess receipts and rejected material cases.

Experience

3-5 years of relevant experience in stores/inventory operations; cable industry experience preferred.

Education

Graduation preferred.

Industry Preference

Cable and wire manufacturing industry.
