Job Description

Role Overview: As a Material Management specialist, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the inventory of various materials, ensuring minimum stock levels are maintained, and coordinating with the purchase department for material requisitions. Additionally, you will be involved in data entry tasks and preparing necessary reports as per management requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare material requisition plan and purchase indents for short materials, following up with the purchase department. - Conduct stock verification of packing materials, finish materials, etc., and maintain minimum stock levels in stores. - Physically verify stock with the ERP system and update material issue slips and stock transfer slips in the ERP. - Manage receipts of all received materials, highlighting any discrepancies in quantity or quality to the concerned department. - Maintain stock of rejected materials/goods and report non-moving/expired goods to the manager regularly. - Print and verify stickers/labels required during the packing process. - Enter details of stock in ERP systems such as packing materials slips, production slips, etc. - Maintain and provide various reports as suggested by the management. Qualifications Required: - Graduate with 2+ years of experience in material management. - Proficiency in ERP systems for stock management. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
