Store Assistant

Receive, check, and store incoming stock Ensure accurate stock placement and labeling Monitor and record stock levels, and report low stock to supervisors Assist customers in locating products Answer basic product-related queries Guide customers through billing and product return processes (if applicable) Restock shelves and display areas as needed Ensure products are arranged attractively and cleanly Rotate stock (FIFO – First In, First Out) to avoid expiry/wastage Keep shelves, display areas, and storage clean and tidy Follow hygiene and safety standards inside the store Operate the billing system or point of sale (POS) machines (if trained) Assist in promotional setups and campaigns Tag pricing and ensure updated offers are displayed Maintain basic registers/logbooks for stock received or issued Assist in stocktaking and physical inventory audits Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Evening shift Rotational shift Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Language: Tamil (Preferred) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person
